- Users can change the disk size of their virtual machine whenever they want. Therefore, users do not have to allocate large amounts of storage when they activate the system.
- Users can equip additional disks without stopping virtual machines. This capability allows users to scale-up their system without taking it offline.
How to Execute
- Create virtual machines with disks. When a disk reaches capacity, order additional disks using the API or the console (GUI). After the disks are ordered, attach the disks to the virtual machines.
- After attaching the additional disks, mount these disks from inside the virtual machine.
The maximum number of disks that can be attached to one virtual machine is five. The maximum cumulative disk space that can be attached to one virtual machine is 5TB.
